Heheng rice

The raw material of "Heheng Rice" comes from the Green Rice Standardization Demonstration Zone with heheng village, Shengao Town, Jiangyan City as the core area, which has a radiation area of 100,000 mu. In the production process, "Heheng Rice" insists on selecting new varieties successfully developed by scientific research institutes, actively promotes pollution-free rice production technology, and widely uses biological fertilizers and organic pesticides to replace chemical agricultural products with high toxicity and high residue to ensure rice quality. In 1995, "Heheng Rice" won the national green food certificate, and in June 2003, China Green Food Development Center awarded "Heheng Rice"-green rice certificate. In 2006, "Heheng Rice" passed the national geographical protection certification. According to reports, in 2002, "Heheng Rice" stood out among many brands of high-quality rice and became the special rice for the troops stationed in Hong Kong and the Antarctic expedition team "Snow Dragon". In the same year, it followed the "Snow Dragon" to the South Pole for the first time. Since 2002, the Snow Dragon has carried 70 tons of rice across the river to roam the north and south poles, completing various scientific research tasks. The scope of protection of geographical indication products of Heheng rice is subject to the scope proposed in the Request for Instructions on Delineating the Protection Scope of Geographical Indication Products of Heheng Rice in Jiangyan City, Jiangsu Province (Jiang Zheng [2005] No.100), which is the administrative area under the jurisdiction of Jiangyan City, Jiangsu Province. Heheng rice is a geographical indication protection product.
