Since then, the jade claw crab in Jingjiang has become famous and its value has doubled. Nowadays, when the golden breeze is cool and the crab is fat and yellow, foreigners often come to Jingjiang to buy jade claw crabs. Some people are even trafficked to Hong Kong. As the saying goes, "the navel is pointed in September and October", which means that the female crab is very plump in September and the male crab is the most fertile in October. In the past, with the west wind, crabs were everywhere. Now, however, due to the dense network of gates, the output of Jingjiang jade claw crab has naturally decreased. In addition, there are more and more factories near Luchanggang, and the treatment of wastewater is not paid attention to, which pollutes the river. Crab seedlings can't stand the stimulation and can only choose water to live. Therefore, the real Luchanggang jade claw crab has become increasingly rare.
