Later, I told the empress that she was in poor health, had backache and could not stand, and needed diagnosis and treatment. Among the local officials who took the driver's ride, one knew the medical way, learned about his illness, and after consulting with all the officials who took the driver's ride, he sent someone to offer Xinfeng wine. After the altar was opened, the cabin was full of fragrance, and the imperial concubine felt sober-headed, comfortable all over, effective after drinking several cups, and walked as usual. When Emperor Yangdi saw that the wine was cured, he was both happy and surprised, so he asked, "What medicinal liquor was offered? It was so miraculous.". The local official said: Xinfeng is a place with pure and honest soil. The grown rice is ground into rice, shaped like pearl agate, and the cooked rice is fragrant all over the house, delicious and nutritious. The wine brewed with this kind of rice and the clear water of Xinfeng Lake and the unique skill of brewing wine not only tastes sweet and mellow, but also has the effects of dispelling wind and cold, dredging blood vessels, relaxing muscles and tendons, invigorating qi and nourishing the mind. Emperor Yangdi was overjoyed and said, Xinfeng is such a good wine, so send dozens of jars of Xinfeng wine to Beijing every year as a tribute. Since then, Xinfeng wine has enjoyed a good reputation in China and sold well in the north and south of the country. Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, visited Xinfeng when he traveled to the south of the Yangtze River, leaving behind a poem "Xinfeng wine in the south, a prostitute song in Dongshan".
