Dafeng Tianshou Poultry and Egg Professional Cooperative is a key farmers' professional cooperative organization in Yancheng and a provincial "four-owned" model farmers' professional cooperative economic organization. Founded in July, 2005, led by Wang Suping, a large-scale breeder, and spontaneously set up in conjunction with the large-scale breeders of laying hens, the professional cooperative for poultry and egg production integrates laying hens' breeding, technical services and sales, with 1220 members, and the mechanized chicken farm with an investment of 10 million yuan and a scale of 100,000 feathers as the leader. Based on the principle of "joining the cooperative voluntarily, quitting freely, selling by contract, sharing benefits and risks" and the operation mode of "professional cooperative organization+breeding base+large breeding households", the cooperative provides members with "five unification" services, namely, unified supply of young chickens, unified feed formula, unified disease prevention, unified product brand and unified sales of poultry eggs, so as to rapidly expand the brand scale effect and improve production and operation. At present, the total number of eggs raised by the cooperative reaches 1.1 million, and the "Tianshou" brand eggs produced by the cooperative have passed the pollution-free origin and product certification of the Ministry of Agriculture, and won the title of well-known trademark of Yancheng City. At present, green food is being declared. The products entered Carrefour Suzhou Store, Beijing Hualian Suzhou Store, Tesco, CR Vanguard Guangji Store, Su Guo and other large supermarket chains, and the market was in short supply, with an average daily delivery of more than 5 tons of eggs. In 2010, the cooperative sold 1,500 tons of eggs, with a sales income of 14 million yuan and a profit of 1.35 million yuan. In 2011, a new project of organic fertilizer production by chicken manure dehydration was launched, with an annual output of 550 tons of organic fertilizer and a profit of 165,000 yuan, which improved the environmental protection level. The cooperative has been listed as the "Five Rings" breeding demonstration base by the Science and Technology Extension Center of North Agricultural University, and has been rated as the advanced farmers' professional cooperative economic organization and the "party member Training Engineering Base for 10,000 Rural People" by Yancheng City and Dafeng Municipal Government for many times.
