Dongtai Meretrix meretrix is a specialty of Dongtai City, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. Meretrix meretrix is mainly produced in the coastal area of Dongtai. It has high economic value, rich nutrition and delicious meat, and is one of the main seafood exported by Yancheng. Meretrix meretrix is abundant in Yancheng coastal beach, especially in Dongsha Island in Dongtai.
