Qiqiao dried tea is a specialty of Funing County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. Funing Qiqiao crooked tea is very popular among local people, and you can take one or two pieces to taste slowly after a meal. Brown in color, round, square, flaky, etc. Qiqiao's "crooked" dried tea, which is known as "a unique skill in northern Jiangsu", began in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty and looks like a round coin, with a history of more than 300 years. According to legend, when Emperor Qing Qianlong visited the south incognito, he occasionally suffered from cold, and his diet was tasteless. In the latter place, he presented Qiqiao "Biaozi" dried tea. After tasting it, Ganlong felt delicious and his appetite increased greatly. He happily wrote the eight characters "King of dried bean curd, eye-catching and refreshing", which has since been designated as a palace tribute. However, although Qiqiao "Biaozi" dried tea can be called "a unique skill in northern Jiangsu", it has never been formally named and developed on a large scale, so it has not been widely known by the world. In 1997, the development of Qiqiao "Biaozi" dried tea was officially started. In 1998, Funing County Xinhu Food Factory and Qiqiao Dried Tea Factory were set up, which were mass-produced, and the brand of "Biaozi" dried tea entered supermarkets in more than 10 large and medium-sized cities such as Shanghai and Nanjing in one fell swoop, which not only digested and processed more than 100,000 kilograms of soybeans every year, but also doubled the identity of dried tea. Qiqiao "Waizi" brand dried tea is made of selected high-quality soybeans, refined according to the unique ancestral secret recipe and modern production technology, and is rich in protein and vitamins. At present, it has formed the most ideal vacuum-packed series of health care products such as beef dried tea, lean meat dried tea, spicy dried tea and five-flavored dried tea.
