[Single-pier vermicelli] Single-pier in Chen Liang Town is located 1 km east of the town and belongs to Yongtong Village. Farmers here have a tradition of making vermicelli, and hundreds of farmers have always taken it as a sideline. The vermicelli produced is dry, white, fine, even and long, cheap and good, and the soup is light when eaten. It is a home-cooked dish that people can't get tired of eating for a long time. The name of "single-pier vermicelli" spread like wildfire, and it was sold well in Yanfu area before the Cultural Revolution. In the 1970s and 1980s, the market expanded to the north and south of the country, becoming a famous brand in vegetable market and a frequent food for urban and rural residents. Its raw materials used to be beans (peas) and broad beans produced in Chen Liang, a water town. After the market expanded, sweet potatoes (sweet potatoes) were introduced into the dry valley area in the west of Funing County. The flavor of the sweet potato vermicelli is different from that of bean vermicelli. After being carefully made by the single pier people, it is favored by housewives and restaurant chefs. Funing people not only eat "single-pier vermicelli" all the year round, but also make a "four-style" gift with Funing big cake, Shuo Ji Bai Ye and Yilin soy sauce for distant relatives and friends, and proudly say, "This is our specialty in Funing". In the 1990s, the production of single-pier vermicelli was once shrinking, and the number of vermicelli-making households became increasingly scarce. On holidays, foreign relatives and friends of single-pier farmers came to buy a few kilograms of pure "single-pier vermicelli", which was hard to satisfy. As for the market outside the county, there is no trace of "single pier fans". At the beginning of 2009, Zhou Qiliu, director of the village committee of Yongtong Village, Chen Liang Town, which Shan Jiadun belongs to, held a meeting to mobilize the masses to return to their old jobs, and introduced new technology to change the traditional manual production into semi-mechanical production, so as to register the "Green Treasure" trademark for Shan Dun fans. After several years of recovery development, by 2009, there were nearly 100 fan workshops in Yongtong village, with an annual output of more than 200 tons. "Green Treasure" brand pure single pier fans are advancing to supermarkets in big cities.
