Tanggou Daqu

Tanggou Daqu tanggou Daqu originated in the Northern Song Dynasty and became famous in the late Ming Dynasty. According to Haizhou Records, as early as the Song Dynasty, there were brewing workshops in tanggou, reaching 13 at its peak. By the end of the Ming Dynasty, tanggou Daqu was sold in Japan and Southeast Asia by the then Yinfuji firm in Binhai County, and Tanggou wine began to attract the attention of the world. In the thirty-seventh year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (AD 1697), Hong Sheng, the author of the script "The Palace of Eternal Life" and a famous dramatist, went north to Qufu, Shandong Province, and met his playmate Kong Shangren. After tasting the fine wine of tanggou, he wrote the famous sentence "Southern Tanggou wine, opening the altar for ten miles", which became a much-told story for a while, and tanggou Daqu was even more famous in all directions. For hundreds of years, tanggou Daqu was known as "Mian".
