Qinnan buffalo is a specialty of Qinnan Town, Yandu District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. Qinnan buffalo has hundreds of years' processing experience, and is cooked by using excellent buffalo, authentic Hartmann traditional craft and unique formula. It has the characteristics of freshness, tender meat, fragrant taste, purity and excellent taste. It has a history of more than 100 years. According to legend, during the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, Hartmann Muslims moved to the local area to slaughter and process buffalo, and its processing technology gradually spread in the local area. At present, there are more than 20 buffalo processors in the town, killing and processing more than 10,000 buffaloes every year. The products sell well in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou and other large and medium-sized cities. The brand "Haxin" produced by Haji Cattle Industry Co., Ltd. is the most famous in Qinnan buffalo. It was awarded the "halal" food mark by the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Committee and passed the national pollution-free agricultural product certification in 2004.
