Ji Huang mutton

Ji Huang mutton first flourished in Ji Huang mutton at the end of Sui Dynasty and the beginning of Tang Dynasty. It was made from high-quality Xuhuai goat with good meat quality and tender muscle fiber. It is fresh but not smelly, with unique flavor, and has the effects of invigorating stomach and spleen, nourishing yin and strengthening yang. In 1999, four dishes such as Chashi mutton, Baiyu mutton, Guzhen mutton offal and steamed lamb were rated as famous dishes in Jiangsu by the Provincial Department of Trade and the Provincial Cuisine Association. Ji Huang Mutton City in Hongze County, located on the east side of Ninglian Road, was officially opened in September 2001, covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters, with nearly 100 households entering the city.
