With the continuous improvement of fishermen's living standards, poached rice has been injected with new contents one after another. Some rice contains salted fish and bacon, melon seeds or red dates. The boiled poached rice is more delicious and has become a brand in local food culture. According to reports, the boiled poached rice wrapped with fresh lotus leaves is not only fragrant and strong, but also has not been spoiled for several days, and it has become a very popular delicacy for tourists. As a brand of food culture, the "Poached Rice" by Hongze Lake is now under development. Tens of thousands of acres of lotus in the lake area have become an inexhaustible natural seasoning for making Poached Rice.
