Shallow water lotus, the "Heyuan Brand" in shallow water lotus, and shallow water lotus have been planted in the original Paifang Township of Lianshui County since the 1980s, and the area has been expanding since 1997, reaching 2667 hectares in 2004. Mainly distributed in Liancheng, Yixing, Huidun, Xiaoliji, Zhuma, Shaoji, Hongyao and other towns. Shallow water lotus lotus root produced in Lianshui County is thick, white and crisp. In recent years, Liancheng Town and other places have developed biogas, and used biogas slurry and biogas residue as the main fertilizer source to plant shallow water lotus. The shallow water lotus produced has been tested and found to meet the index requirements of pollution-free agricultural products, and has obtained the pollution-free agricultural products mark certificate.
