Holly peach in Huaguoshan

Holly peach (also known as winter peach) in Huaguoshan is mostly born in the mountains about 500 meters above sea level. Winter peach trees are no different from ordinary peach trees, except that the flowering period is about half a month late, and the fruit is "difficult to produce" until early winter. The fruit size of Dongtao peach is similar to that of Huangtao, with round skin, less water, sweet and slightly sour, and aroma. Easy to store, put the ripe fruit in the jar of corn paste and seal it. When taken out during the Spring Festival, the fruit is as bright as ever, and the food is sweet and sour, which is called "Xiantao". According to legend, the winter peach in Huaguoshan was cultivated by monks in Sanyuan Palace for many years, with few initial plants, and the fruit was only used as a tribute to Sanyuan. Now after cultivation, Huaguoshan has been planted more. Climbing in early winter, it is a rare sight to see fresh peaches hanging trees.
