Guanyun cake, also known as "Jade Belt Cake" and commonly known as "Gui Pian Cake" among the people, is an essential first-class food for festivals and holidays and gifts to relatives and friends. The name of "Jade Belt Cake" has a long history and a long reputation, among which there is a little-known allusion. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Zhang, the great governor of the river course and Prime Minister of Zuo Dian, stayed in the ancient Buddhist temple in Daiyi Mountain when he was managing the river course in the 60th year of Emperor Kangxi (1721). He felt that the vegetarian food in the temple was boring, so he asked the host monk what the precious food was in Dayi Mountain, and the old monk held out the local specialty, namely, cinnamon cake. The shape is like a jade belt decorated by an official of this dynasty. It is as white as snow, fragrant and cicada-like. When you put it in your mouth, you don't need fine products. It is poor and sweet, and it has entered the internal organs. Governor Zhang can't help clapping his hands and exclaiming, this kind of strange jade food, I hate it when I first met you. So I put my pen on the white wall and wrote a five-character quatrain, "Jade belt floats all over the world and is welcomed by thousands of families." Strange meals are popular, and the fruit is worthy of the name. " When he returned to Beijing, he changed the name of Gui Pian Cake to Jade Belt Cake, which was tasted by Emperor Xuanye, a tribute to the sage, and attracted the great joy of "Long Yan" and became a tribute. In 1990, Guanyun Big Cake won the silver medal in the first China Food Expo, which was a provincial excellent product.
