In the Qing dynasty, the egg-beautiful duck was cut into plum blossom shape with cooked eggs, surrounded by ducks, and the ducks used bucket ducks (that is, ducks with broken bones and stuffing). The wine was steamed to the extreme, without losing its umami flavor. Now it's cooked with eggs, which is further in taste and shape. Egg-beautiful duck has evolved into egg-beautiful chicken and egg-beautiful pigeon, and the flavor is basically the same.
