Shanxi's aged vinegar, Zhenjiang's fragrant vinegar and Banpu Town's dripping vinegar are also called the three major domestic vinegars, and among all kinds of dripping vinegar, Wang Shu of Banpu has the best dripping vinegar. Wang Shuyou's vinegar was created by Wang Yiyu, a vinegar master in Qing Dynasty, and it was first produced in the 14th year of Kangxi (1675). The vinegar has a strong fragrance and a unique flavor, and it became famous as soon as it came out. For more than 300 years, its reputation has not declined. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty, the magistrate of Haizhou once offered Wang Shuyou a drop of vinegar to the emperor Qianlong, who praised it after tasting it and gave it as a "tribute". Wang Shuyou vinegar is brewed with high-quality sorghum and unique traditional solid-state fermentation technology. It is mellow, sweet and delicious, and contains a variety of amino acids and vitamins. It has many health-care functions, such as invigorating spleen, stimulating appetite, helping digestion, relieving fatigue, softening blood vessels, regulating blood acid-base balance, etc. It is an ideal product for family seasoning and banquet. After liberation, drip vinegar became the fist product of Banpu town-run enterprises, but due to various reasons, the development and production were slow, with an annual output of only 30 to 40 tons. In No.1 middle school, the signboard of "Wang Nuyou" drip vinegar was smashed (changed to "Banpu drip vinegar"), and the output and quality of drip vinegar were in a stagnant state. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the policy has turned to the heart. The Party and the government have attached great importance to the production of drip vinegar, restored the time-honored signboard, expanded the production workshop, and began to sell well in many provinces and cities in China. In 1991, 1997 and 1999, with the care and support of leaders at the provincial, municipal and county levels, Banpu "Wangshuyou" vinegar dropping factory has been expanded and reformed three times, making its annual output from 600 tons to 5,000 tons, making it the largest professional vinegar manufacturer in northern Jiangsu. In 1984, "Wang Shuyou" Didi Vinegar participated in the "Jiangsu Famous Products Exhibition in Beijing"; From 1986 to 1990, it successively won the certificates of excellent products in city, province and department, and the factory was awarded the title of star enterprise in Jiangsu Province. Then, he successively participated in trade fairs in Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjing, Xi 'an and other places, and won the silver medal in the first food fair in China, the Jingtailan trophy in the light industrial food fair in the Asian Games, and the quality product award of the China Food Association. In 1998, the registered trademark of "Wang Shuyou" was awarded the title of famous trademark in Jiangsu Province; And was rated as "recommended goods" by Jiangsu Consumers Association in 2000-2001; Comrade Wang Zongsui was named "Top Ten Factory Directors (Managers)" in Lianyungang. According to the Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indications, AQSIQ organized experts to review the application for the protection of geographical indications in Banpu Wangshu. After passing the examination, Banpu Wangshu has been approved as a geographical indication protection product, and protection will be implemented from now on.
