Suzhou scented tea

Scented tea is also known as "scented tea", "smoked tea" and "scented tea". China has a long history of producing scented tea. As early as more than 700 years ago, Zhao Xi-hu recorded in the Southern Song Dynasty that "when all the flowers bloom, those who pick them are half full of fragrance, measure the amount of tea and pick flowers as companions ...". According to the inscription on the ancient flower temple at the foot of Huqiu Mountain in Suzhou, Suzhou has been producing scented tea for nearly 300 years. Suzhou is one of the four major producing areas of fragrant flowers in China. Due to abundant annual rainfall, long frost-free period and unique geographical environment, coupled with greenhouse potted plants, the fragrance is richer and purer, and the scented tea made from this fragrant flower is also of higher grade. Suzhou is one of the main producing areas of scented tea in China, and the output of scented tea accounts for about one third of the national output. The first-class "Tiger Hill Brand" jasmine tea produced by Suzhou Tea Factory also won the "National Silver Award for Quality Food", the second-class and third-class jasmine tea won the honorary title of quality products of the Ministry of Commerce and Jiangsu Province, and Jasmine Minghao was rated as a national famous tea. The products of Suzhou Tea Factory also include orchid tea and tortoiseshell tea.
