Jiuhuang in Shatang

Shatang leek is "light yellow in color, with leaves like gold bars and stems like white jade", which is famous for its freshness, fragrance and delicious taste, and is the top grade among all kinds of leek varieties. When Su Dongpo was in Xuzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty, he wrote, "I gradually felt the chill of the east wind, and I tried the spring dish with green money and yellow leeks." The poem, which refers to the Tongshan Shatang leek yellow, it has three unique colors, fragrance and taste. Lu You once wrote a poem praising that "there is no chives in the new Beijing, and the color is as yellow as goose three feet."
