Peixian Dongtao

Produced in Pei County, Jiangsu Province. It blooms in spring, 6-7 days earlier than ordinary peach trees. After fruit setting, the growth of peaches stops when they grow as big as green cherries. After August-September, when the weather becomes cool, peaches begin to grow and mature until the winter solstice, which is 2-3 times that of ordinary peach trees. Winter peach skin is white and red, with a layer of milky fluff on the outside, thin skin and small core, thick meat and juicy. Because of the long maturity of winter peach, it has withstood the test of "three volts" on the tree, so it tastes fragrant and sweet, crunchy when chewed, and tastes a little bit of rock sugar. It is convenient for storage and becomes a rare fruit in winter.
