Zhuzhai meat duck

Zhuzhai Town is located in the west of Pei County, with a total area of 82 square kilometers and 68,000 mu of cultivated land, with 1.2 mu of cultivated land per capita. It has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages and 104 natural villages with a total population of 65,000. The town party committee and government focused on increasing farmers' income, vigorously promoted the large-scale construction of efficient agriculture, and formed a new pattern of agricultural development. Zhuzhai Town has developed animal husbandry and vegetable planting. A variety of business projects include more than 20 eco-duck breeding, pig breeding, beef cattle, Dutch potatoes, shallow water lotus, facility dishes, etc., especially eco-duck breeding and pig breeding. Meat duck breeding in Zhuzhai Town began in 1992 and took shape after 1995. At present, it has become the largest meat duck breeding base in China, forming a 10-kilometer breeding belt and 6 breeding areas along Longhe Road. At the same time, a trading market, a duck breeding incubator, a feed processing factory, a meat duck processing factory and a 400-ton refrigerated warehouse have been established along Peifeng Road, forming an industrial base integrating technology, industry and trade. Annual slaughter of 25 million meat ducks, processing of 16 million meat ducks, sales of 40,000 tons, effectively promoted the development of meat duck breeding industry in the whole town and surrounding areas, and became a new bright spot for farmers in Zhuzhai.
