Dashahe in Fengxian County is the largest apple production base in Jiangsu Province, and the Fuji apples it produces are large, bright in color, juicy and delicious. Dashahe Town, Fengxian County, Xuzhou is located on the beautiful Dashahe River, 22km south of Huangkou Station of Longhai Railway of New Eurasia Continental Bridge and 18km north of Fengxian County. The town has an administrative area of 128 square kilometers and a population of 55,400. It has jurisdiction over 31 village committees and 2 fruit forest farms. The agricultural production in this town is mainly forest fruits, and it is a famous fruit town. In 1995, it was named as "the hometown of China Red Fuji" by the state and approved by the people's government of Jiangsu Province as the core area for comprehensive development of export-oriented agriculture. At present, the town has 70,000 mu of contiguous orchards, with an annual output of 100 million kilograms of red Fuji apples and white crisp pears, which has become an important high-quality fruit production base. The products are sold well all over the country and exported to Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea and South Korea. Red Fuji Apples The town has an area of 35,000 mu of red Fuji apples with an annual output of 50 million kilograms. New technology demonstration bases, such as introduction experimental park of new fruit varieties and high-quality red Fuji apple cultivation demonstration park, have been built, and more than 30 technologies, such as setting fruit by flowers, thinning flowers and fruits, bagging fruits, drying words and laying reflective films, have been popularized successively, which has effectively improved the quality rate of fruits and formed the advantage of famous brands. At present, Dashahe fruit has won more than 240 national, provincial and municipal awards, among which Red Fuji Apple has won the title of excellent department for four times, white crisp pear has been rated as the first in the country, and five fruit strains have obtained the national green food certification. At the 99 Kunming World Expo, "Dashahe" brand Red Fuji Apple was designated as the only pollution-free apple. On this basis, Dashahe Town, based on its own reality and market demand, vigorously adjusted the fruit structure, optimized the variety layout, accelerated the introduction of new varieties and the pace of fruit tree renewal, and introduced more than 50 promising new varieties from home and abroad for identification, observation, test and promotion. In the past two years, the town has transformed more than 2,000 mu of old fruit trees with poor quality and low benefits, and newly planted new varieties such as Shafu No.1, New World, Royal Gala, Tengmu No.1 and Xingshui Pear, which enhanced the stamina of economic development and promoted the further development of forest fruit industrialization.
