Yudai cake is a specialty of Honglan Town, Lishui County, Jiangsu Province. According to legend, during the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River and passed the Wuxiang Temple in Honglanbu Ancient Temple to rest. The monks in the temple were diligent and offered this cake. The emperor was attracted by the color and fragrance of this cake, and after eating it, he was very happy and praised: "This cake is white and delicious, and it looks like my royal belt." Honglan's "Royal Belt Cake" was named after it. After returning to Beijing, the governor of Jiangsu was instructed to make this cake a tribute every year, and often tasted it with all the beloved princesses in the back garden, winning a beautiful face like a peach blossom and always smiling. Since then, Honglan's "Royal Belt Cake" has become famous all over the world. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, we came to Honglan, an ancient town, for an interview.
