Lishui Baima Blueberry is a specialty of Baima Town, Lishui District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Lishui Baima Blueberry fresh fruit skin is rich in powder, the fruit is full and round, the color is bright, and the taste is sweet and slightly sour. It is an authentic "tip of the tongue" and is favored by people. Blueberry is a plant of Vaccinium in Ericaceae. Its fruit is juicy and mellow, with unique fragrance. In the past two years, Baima National Agricultural Science and Technology Park in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province and Institute of Botany of Jiangsu Academy of Sciences have carried out in-depth cooperation in blueberry standardization base construction, new variety cultivation, production, sales and processing, and accelerated the development of blueberry industry. At present, the planting area of blueberries in the town is nearly 15,000 mu, of which the fruit-bearing area is 5,000 mu. This year's output is expected to reach 3,000 tons, and the planting scale and output rank first in the country. Baima Town has formulated the national first provincial local standard "Operating Rules for Blueberry Production Technology", and the Blueberry Base has been listed as a provincial pollution-free standardized demonstration area. Blueberry planting areas mainly choose sunny hillsides. After soil improvement, the organic matter content is high, and the local climate and rainfall are suitable for blueberry growth. Excellent varieties such as Yuanlan, Tifu Blue, Jietu and Brilliant are selected, combined with 30 years of mature planting techniques and management experience, the excellent quality of blueberries in Baima Town is achieved. Mature fresh fruits are full and round in skin, bright in color and sweet and slightly sour in taste, which is an authentic "tip of the tongue". At present, the blueberry in Baima Town has initially formed an industrialized development model integrating seedling raising, planting, processing and sales. Large-scale planting base and reliable blueberry quality assurance have attracted large groups and leading agricultural enterprises such as Tianjin Ward, Shanghai Baoshengtang, Nanjing Xindeli and Leqin to settle in Baima Town to develop blueberry food processing. With farmers' professional cooperatives as the link, the model of "enterprise+cooperative+base" is implemented, and the production, processing and marketing are one-stop. The frozen fruits, fruit juices, jams and fruit wines produced are mainly sold to Jiangsu, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
