Dongba Dried Tofu Dongba Dried Tofu has a long history. It is famous for its high quality, delicious taste, moderate hardness and toughness, and is suitable for dry eating and side dishes. The traditional Dongba dried bean curd is made of high-quality soybeans of the current year, which are carefully made and shaped through more than ten processes, such as soaking, stone grinding, pulp filtering, pulp burning, bittern spotting, coarse wrapping, fine wrapping with small pieces of cloth, pressing and so on. Dried bean curd is divided into two categories: dried and smelly. If it needs to be made into dried bean curd, add a variety of seasonings and cook it in the pot. The stinky dry is soaked in brine with various ingredients. Because of its fine workmanship and unique formula, it is well received by customers and has become one of Dongba's enduring local products. In 1994, Weitahang Food Factory absorbed the essence of traditional technology and successfully produced dried bean curd with mechanized assembly line and vacuum packaging technology, which promoted the development of bean products industry in the town. In 2002, Dongba Town had 8 enterprises producing dried tofu and nearly 100 manual workshops, with 7 brands including Weitahang, Weinihang, Wu Zixu, Yiyou, Judou, Lujia and Laofang, and more than 10 varieties of spicy, spiced, kai yang, lump, string, silk and towel, which occupied the market in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Anhui, Shandong, Zhejiang, Hubei and other provinces and cities.
