Chongming Chinese cabbage

Commonly known as yellow sprouts, it was introduced and planted from Jiaozhou, Shandong Province during the light-year period of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 100 years and is one of the main cash crops in this county. The color of Chinese cabbage is green or yellow-white, and the bulbs generally weigh about 8 kg. The main varieties are Chengyangqing and Qingza No.3. In the past 10 years, the planting area of the county is 30,000 to 40,000 mu, and the annual market volume is about 1 million to 2 million tons, which is the main vegetable for Shanghai winter market.
