Chongming cauliflower

Chongming Island covers an area of more than 1,200 square kilometers. The planting area of cauliflower in the county alone reaches 5,360 hectares, with an annual output value exceeding 150 million yuan. It is one of the largest cauliflower producing areas in East China, and cauliflower has become a veritable fist agricultural product in Chongming. At present, 10 pollution-free standardized production demonstration bases have been established in the county, and the "Xinyi" brand cauliflower has been tested by the national authoritative organization and reached the national green food A-level standard. Now, Chongming cauliflower has been exported to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand, Russia, Mongolia and other countries and regions. Vegetable farmers in the county implement strict quality management in cultivation, sorting, preservation, transportation and pest control according to the requirements of the international market.
