Zhaoqiao Village is located in the southeast of Pudong New Area. In recent years, the village has actively adjusted the agricultural industrial structure and developed the peach industry according to local conditions. At present, there are 12 farmers' professional cooperatives and 4 large-scale cooperatives in the village, with an annual turnover of more than 10 million, and the peaches sold account for more than 65% of the village's sales. While developing peach as the leading industry, Zhaoqiao Village has also actively developed the tourism industry of Taoyuan, hosted four Shanghai Peach Blossom Festivals, and turned Datuan Taoyuan into a national-level tourist attraction integrating catering, entertainment, conference and eco-tourism. In 2008, Datuan Taoyuan was rated as a national-level AAA tourist attraction. In 2010, the net income of villagers reached 13,632 yuan, which was 22.4% higher than the per capita net income of farmers in datuan town. The village has successively won the honorary titles of civilized village, sanitary village and beautiful home demonstration village in Shanghai. The construction of "one village, one product" has made the villagers taste the sweetness brought by "peach economy" and explored the "peach culture" spirit of Zhaoqiao people who are brave in practice and innovation.
