Dengta Village is an agricultural village in Jiading Industrial Zone, located in the northwest of Jiading Industrial Zone. Lighthouse Village has a long history of strawberry planting, and is known as "Jiading Strawberry" in Shanghai and the surrounding areas of Jiangsu. In order to improve the level of strawberry industrialization, improve the degree of farmers' organization, and enhance the competitiveness of strawberry market, Dengta Village established Shanghai Nongdeng Strawberry Production Cooperative in April 2002. In 2006, Nongdeng Strawberry was recognized as a pollution-free product by the Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. In 2007, the management committee of Jiading Industrial Zone established a 350-mu strawberry variety breeding and industrial demonstration base in Dengta Village with financial investment in order to make the "one town, one product" strawberry industry bigger and stronger. 286 members of the whole society planted 750 mu of strawberries, achieving an output value of more than 9 million yuan and an average household income of 31,500 yuan. By supporting large professional strawberry growers and exerting the pulling effect of "building one and driving one", the overall economic level of the village has been improved. Lighthouse Village is named after strawberries, which are also called red berries, cranberries, ground berries, etc. It is a kind of red fruit. Strawberry is a general name for the genus strawberry in Rosaceae, which belongs to perennial herbs. The appearance of strawberry is heart-shaped, delicious, red and tender, with juicy pulp and special rich fruit aroma. Strawberry has high nutritional value, rich in vitamin C, and has the effect of helping digestion. At the same time, strawberry can also consolidate gums, refresh breath and moisten throat.
