Huimo is as famous as Hu Bi, Xuan Paper and Duan Yan, and is a treasure in Four Treasures of the Study. Hui Mo developed to the Qing Dynasty, with good quality and large quantity, reaching the highest level in history, and four Mohist schools emerged, namely Cao Sugong, Wang Jinsheng, Wang Jiean and Hu Kaiwen. Cao Sugong ranks first among the "Four Masters", so there is a saying that "the ink of the world pushes her state, and the ink of her state pushes Cao Shi". The ink produced by Cao Sugong's Mozhuang is well-known in the world for its excellent quality decoration and appreciation of Xian Yi. In the third year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Cao Sugong's Mozhuang moved from Shezhou to Shanghai. From its opening to 1956, Cao Shi has experienced thirteen generations, which lasted for more than 300 years. It has successively created famous calligraphy and painting inks such as Ziyuguang, Guangchen, Tianrui and Qianqiuguang, as well as collections of ink such as Leopard Capsule and Ancient Money, which sell well. Cao Shi ink has strict formula, exquisite materials and sophisticated technology. The main raw material of high-quality painting and calligraphy ink is tung oil. Tung oil is called "the king of oil" and has strong adhesion. In addition, sesame oil, lard, gum, natural musk, plum slices, borneol, pearls, gold foil and other precious traditional Chinese medicine spices are added. By using traditional techniques, they are refined through 12 processes, including refining, stirring, cooling and painting, which lasted for one year. Plain ink has the following characteristics: first of all, the color is like paint, and there is a slight purple light in the dark. According to the records of Shexian County Records and Huizhou Prefecture Records, Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty visited Jiangning, and Cao Sugong presented precious ink. Kangxi was deeply appreciated after the trial, and gave Cao Shi "Purple".
