Shanghai Xusihai pot-making began in the 1960s, and the purple sand pot created became famous all over the world. Influenced by the works of Chen Mansheng, Yang Pengnian and others in Qing Dynasty, he cooperated with painters and painters such as Tang Yun, Xie Zhiliu, Cheng Shifa and Hu Wensui to combine pot art with books, paintings, seals and other arts, and made many painting and calligraphy pots. "Qin Quan Pot" cooperated with Professor Li Qimao of Taiwan Province, with the word "Perfect Combination" written by Han Tianheng, and this pot was edited and selected by Gu Jingzhou into the book "Yixing Zisha Precious Appreciation". Xu Sihai also painstakingly collected Chinese ancient and modern pots, and founded the Sihai Pot Museum at No.322 Xingguo Road in 1992. There are more than a thousand pieces in the collection, from the original painted pottery pots to the Ming and Qing dynasty purple sand pots, which are divided into pottery pots, bronze pots, iron pot, tin pots, leather pots and glass pots. By function, there are kettle, hip flask, liquid kettle, teapot and so on. There are more than 200 pieces of pots in China in the past dynasties, including some masterpieces of contemporary pot-making masters and ceramic artists.
