Xunke agate

Xunke agate stone is produced in baoxiangshan, Xunke County, Heilongjiang Province. The stone is hard, and the hardness can reach 8 degrees; Colorful and warm, rich in pretty colors, the colors are pink, red, crimson, apricot yellow, light green and so on; Good transparency and large block size; Rich in reserves. Xunke agate stone can be used to carve figures, flowers, wine glasses, necklaces and other handicrafts, crystal clear and bright, with beautiful colors. Xunke agate stone is mostly purple-red block, which occurs in the loose gravel layer of Sunwu Formation of Tertiary. It is mainly distributed in Ayan River Basin of Xunke County, and baoxiangshan is named for its rich output and high grade of agate stone. The angular lines and irregular convex parts of agate rubble are too smooth, and the plane part of the stone is also full of potholes exposed to wind and rain in the past. Especially in the local deep soil below 10 meters, the color and quality are the best. In 1978, 32.4 kilograms of water bile agate was harvested, and 100 kilograms of extra-large agate was also harvested. In baoxiangshan, Xunke County, there is an agate stone county nature reserve with an area of 1,352 hectares, and the main protection object is natural agate stone. The range of origin of Xunke agate is baoxiangshan and Kelin Township, Xunke County, Heilongjiang Province. Xunke agate is a geographical indication protection product.
