Linkou soybean

As a grain production base county, soybean cultivation plays an important role in grain production in linkou county. Linkou county is located in the mid-latitude, and belongs to the mid-temperate continental climate. The main crops are soybeans, corn, wheat and rice, and the total annual grain output is about 250 million kilograms. Among them, high-quality soybeans are provincial bases. In 2010, the 600,000 mu national green food raw material (soybean) standardized production base in linkou county officially passed the acceptance of the National Green Food Development Center. The production bases are located in six towns and villages in linkou county, including Gucheng, Jiantang, Diaoling, Qingshan, Kuishan and Sandaotong, with a total area of 600,000 mu and an annual output of 96,000 tons. The main varieties planted in the production base are non-GMO varieties such as Heinong 38, Heinong 44, Heinong 48, Mufeng 7 and Suinong 28, and the penetration rate of improved varieties in the base reaches 100%. New technologies such as soil testing and formula fertilization, standardized cultivation, bio-organic fertilizer demonstration, biological control and physical control, and integrated pest control technology are adopted, and farming methods such as rotation, strip cropping, block cropping and intercropping are also adopted.
