Tricholoma matsutake is one of the only wild fungi that cannot be cultivated artificially at present. In addition to the general mushroom growth conditions, Tricholoma matsutake must grow together with pine trees and coexist with pine roots, and its growth environment is in the shady or semi-shady pine forest at an altitude of 700 to 500 meters. Tricholoma matsutake is fleshy, delicious and tender. Not only has excellent flavor and attractive fragrance, but also is a nutritious edible fungus, which has the reputation of "king of edible fungi", no less than Hericium erinaceus and Ganoderma lucidum, and is especially regarded as a treasure in Europe and America. According to chemical analysis, the strain is rich in protein, fat, various essential amino acids and vitamins B1, B2, C and PP. Tricholoma matsutake has the medicinal effects of strengthening the body, benefiting the stomach, relieving pain, regulating qi and resolving phlegm. The inhibition rate of hot water extract from fruiting body on sarcoma 180 in mice was 91.8%, and that on Ehrlich cancer was 70%. This fungus is also an ectomycorrhizal fungus of trees. It is known to form mycorrhiza with Pinus densiflora, Pinus thunbergii and Pinus alpine. At present, Tricholoma matsutake needs to take effective measures to strengthen the further investigation and study of wild Tricholoma matsutake resources in China, to protect this precious resource and ecological environment, and to strengthen the research on artificial cultivation of Tricholoma matsutake.
