Tangyuan rice is a specialty of Tangyuan County, Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province. Tangyuan County, with a history of nearly a hundred years, is the main producing area of green rice in cold regions of China, one of the earliest counties in Heilongjiang and the birthplace of rice in Sanjiang Plain. "Good mountains and good water produce good rice", Tangyuan rice has special quality and taste, which is inseparable from Tangyuan's unique ecological environment, soil characteristics, irrigation water source, climatic conditions, varieties and cultivation techniques. Rice was planted by artificial sowing in natural water, and the area grew to 90,000 mu in 1949. After liberation, rice planting has developed rapidly. In recent years, with the continuous development of rice industry, Tangyuan County has focused on increasing agricultural production, increasing farmers' income and sustainable agricultural development, changed its thinking and applied new technologies, which has accelerated the development process from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, made a breakthrough in rice area and greatly improved rice output. At present, the rice planting area in the county has reached 1.05 million mu, and the total rice output has reached 550,000 tons, with an output value of 1.87 billion yuan. The rice industry has become a pillar industry in the county. A number of well-known and hard-won brands have emerged one after another. Among them, "Tangwanghe" and "Wanmu Rice" have been rated as famous brand products and trademarks in Heilongjiang Province, and Tangwanghe brand rice has been rated as a famous brand in Heilongjiang Province since 2005. Tangyuan Rice has participated in Harbin Fair, Qiqihar Green Expo and Beijing Green Food Exhibition Week for many times, which has been well received by consumers at home and abroad.
