Lindian chicken

Lindian chicken is a local chicken breed in the alpine region of northern China, which has the advantages of cold resistance and strong vitality. Lindian chicken is mainly produced in Lindian County, Heilongjiang Province. Distributed in the vicinity of the place of origin. The existing breeding capacity is about 260,000. Lindian County is located in Songnen Plain of Heilongjiang Province, and the soil is mostly alkaline, mainly carbonate and meadow chernozem. Under the conditions of local cold and dry climate and abundant agricultural and sideline products, after years of selection by the masses, they gradually formed an excellent chicken breed adapted to the alpine region. Lindian chicken has the advantages of cold resistance, roughage tolerance and strong vitality, and is suitable for raising in high latitude and cold areas in Northeast China. On this basis, we should further strengthen breeding, improve feeding management conditions and increase the egg production of chickens. Now Heilongjiang Province has set up a breeding farm in Lindian County for breeding. Lindian Chicken is a geographical indication certification trademark. Origin (or distribution): mainly produced in Lindian County and its neighboring counties in Heilongjiang Province. Mode of conservation: number of protected species in conservation areas: 200,000 to 300,000 in 2002. Main characteristics: it belongs to a dual-purpose chicken breed with partial meat. Medium-sized, with thick feathers, the feathers are mainly dark yellow, light yellow and black, the cocks are mostly golden yellow, and the tail feathers are long and black. The head, wattle and crown are small, most chickens have a single crown and a few chickens have a rose crown. The rainbow is red. Beak, shin and toe are black or brown, shin is thin, and a few chickens have shin feathers. The skin is white. Adult chicken weight: male 1740 grams, female 1270 grams. The age of laying is 240 ~ 270 days, and 70 ~ 90 eggs are laid every year, weighing 60 grams, and the eggshells are light brown or brown.
