Zhaoyuan Gulong Gong Mi Processing Co., Ltd. was established in February 1998, located in Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County. It is the largest millet processing enterprise in China. The original design year was 50,000 tons of Gulong Gong Mi (millet). The first phase of the project was completed in December 1998, and now it has formed the capacity of 21,000 tons of Gulong Gong Mi. The enterprise has 193 employees, the factory area is 78,000 square meters, and the building area is 12,000 square meters. By the end of December 2001, the total assets were 110 million yuan, including 47.1 million yuan in fixed assets. In 2001, the total industrial output value was 73.09 million yuan, the sales income was 89 million yuan, and the profits and taxes were 28.34 million yuan. In October 2000, Daqing Jitai Group was awarded the title of leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization by eight ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Agriculture.
