Adzuki bean, Leguminosae, Phaseolus, panicum miliaceum. The leaves are compound leaves composed of 3 leaflets. Lobular round head or sword head type. Pedicels emerge from leaf axils, and several flowers are planted at the apex of the pedicel, which is a self-pollinated crop with small flowers and yellow or light gray flowers. The keel petals are spiral, and each pedicel bears 1-5 pods, 7-16 cm long, and 4-18 oval or long oval seeds are wrapped in the pods. The seeds are mostly reddish brown, but also black, gray, white, green and light yellow. The 1000-seed weight is 50-210 grams, mostly in 130 grams of Zuoshi. Adzuki bean has strong adaptability. The requirement for soil is not high, it is barren-resistant, clay and sand can grow, and it can be planted in Sichuan and mountainous areas. Both waterlogging and drought tolerance, late planting and early maturity, short growth period and simple cultivation techniques can be used as supplementary crops. Generally, hole sowing, row spacing of 25-35cm, plant spacing of 16cm, 4-5 seeds per hole, sowing amount of 1.5-2.5kg per mu, growth period of about 100 days, spring and summer sowing, pure breeding and interplanting.
