Marigold in Jidong

Marigold has strong adaptability, drought resistance and less pests and diseases, and natural pigments can be extracted after processing. Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province has been trying to plant marigold since 2000, and has now developed and planted 15,000 mu. In 2005, the total output of marigold in Jidong County was 37,000 tons, with an output value of 25.9 million yuan.
