Baiquan County is an agricultural county with grain production as the main part. The county has 3.613 million mu of cultivated land in the south. The land here is fertile and rich in soybeans, wheat, corn, sorghum, white kidney beans, sunflowers, potatoes and other crops. There are 1.139 million mu of forested land, mainly Korean pine, larch, Mongolian pine and poplar, and the standing stock is 2.42 million cubic meters.
