Basaltic lava

During explosive volcanic activity, hot basaltic lava spews out of the crater, and with the difference of its consolidation degree before landing, different shapes of volcanic bombs are formed: spindle-shaped volcanic bombs, twist-shaped volcanic bombs, irregular volcanic bombs, and cow dung-shaped, pie-shaped, straw hat-shaped, snake-shaped and flat lava balls, that is, basaltic lava. There are more than 10 kinds of mineral resources in Kedong County, such as basalt, basaltic lava and engineering sand. Basalt lava is a unique natural mineral resource in Kedong, with a buried amount of 77.5 million cubic meters and an annual mining amount of 80,000 cubic meters.
