Brief introduction of natural soda water in Kedong County The natural soda water first discovered in our county is unique to China after Japan, the former Soviet Union, France and Germany. The water source is Cretaceous sandstone aquifer on Jianshan volcanic fault zone in Erkeshan-Wudalianchi-Keluo volcanic activity zone. Water is weak alkaline boron-containing natural soda water, which contains metasilicic acid, strontium, lithium, selenium, iron and other trace elements and mineral salts. This water has a remarkable curative effect on patients with gastric diseases with excessive gastric acid secretion, and has a certain health care effect on treating acidosis, hyperuricemia, diabetes, rheumatism and other diseases. It is called "water of gold", "water of liver" and "water of life". In 2008, our county was rated as "the hometown of soda water in China". Tested by Heilongjiang Provincial Central Laboratory and Jilin University Testing Science Experimental Center, the soda mineral water in our county contains 17 kinds of trace elements necessary for human body, such as boron, iron, manganese and copper, and the main macro elements (mg/L) such as potassium, sodium, carbonate, metasilicic acid and bicarbonate are 1.08, 130.48, 16.505, 14.56 and 324.15 respectively. Evian brand soda water originated from the French Alps is a world-famous mineral water, and its main macro elements of potassium, sodium, carbonate, metasilicic acid and bicarbonate are (mg/L): 1.0, 5.0, 10.0, 17.5 and 357.0. It can be seen that most of the main macro-element indexes of soda mineral water in our county are better than those of French Evian brand soda water. In 2008, according to the survey by the Provincial Hydrogeological Engineering Survey Institute, the storage of natural soda water in the county is about 10.05×108m3, the replenishment amount is about 8325.15m3/d, and the allowable exploitation amount is about 6660.12m3/d.. At present, the total investment of the first phase of the project of Haichang Company and other four enterprises has reached nearly 400 million yuan, and the annual soda production capacity has reached 400,000 tons. The natural soda industry has grown from scratch, from immature to mature, and has become another emerging industry with great development potential in our county after dairy industry. With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of personal consumption level, the natural soda water in our county will surely win the favor of consumers and have a very broad market prospect. Kedong natural soda water is a geographical indication protection product.
