Heilongjiang White Chicken is produced in 8 cities including Harbin, Qiqihar, Mudanjiang and Jiamusi, as well as cities, counties and state farms along the railways such as Binzhou, Binsui, Binbei and Mujia. Heilongjiang White Chicken originated from Laihang Chicken left over from the Japanese Puppet Period. Heilongjiang white chicken has high egg production rate, cold resistance, rough feeding tolerance and strong adaptability; Small size, white and tight feathers, light appearance, long body, high legs and developed hindquarters. The hen's crown is single, with 4-5 crests, which fall to the side. The cockscomb, drooping flesh, bright red face, straight back, wide and deep chest, large and soft abdomen, wings close to the body, and well-developed tail feathers. The skin, beak and feet are yellow, and the ears are white. Cock comb is large and erect, chest is wide and deep, neck feathers, shoulder feathers and saddle feathers are shiny, legs are thick and tall, and the body is strong. Under the general feeding conditions, the annual egg production of Heilongjiang white chicken is about 160. If the feeding conditions are good, the annual egg production can reach more than 200. Eggs weigh 54-60 grams. The egg skin is white. The sexual maturity is 180-240 days, and the production performance is good.
