Acheng District is one of the districts and counties with large corn planting area in Harbin, and the corn economy plays an important role in the total agricultural production in Acheng District. Acheng sticky corn planting base is located in the first accumulated temperature zone in Heilongjiang Province, which is very suitable for the growth of sticky corn, and the unique geographical climate and suitable rainfall create the unique quality of Acheng sticky corn. In particular, since 1997, the introduction and promotion of Kenzhan No.1 corn hybrid in our region has continuously improved farmers' planting level and gradually enhanced their market awareness. Up to now, the high-efficiency cultivation techniques of sticky corn have been widely popularized and applied in the whole region, including early cultivation mode, delayed cultivation mode and suitable cultivation mode, which is a highlight of planting industry in Acheng District. In 1997, nine towns and villages formed a certain planting scale, set up sticky corn production associations and created their own product brands. There are two typical villages, Yazhan Village and Jixiang Village in Yagou Town. The Yagou Town Sticky Bean Bag Association was established to organize and manage the production, processing and marketing links in a unified way, and several brands of sticky bean bags were created and packaged in a unified way, which were sold to Harbin, Shenyang, Changchun, Beijing, Jinan, Guangzhou and other large and medium-sized cities. In 2000, with the development of market economy in Acheng District, order production began to enter sticky corn growers, such as Xinli Street, New Countryside and Yanchuan Village, and signed an order contract of 2,600 mu with Harbin Shunda Agricultural and Sideline Products Processing Co., Ltd.; In 2007, Lingxi Village of Daling Township signed an order contract with Chongqing Caihua Trading Co., Ltd. for 2,700 mu of white sticky corn. The delayed planting technology model of sticky corn in Acheng promoted the establishment and development of local quick-frozen sticky corn enterprises. The delayed planting area of sticky corn in the whole region was 35,000 mu, which could produce 98 million green ears. It was purchased and stored by some local and Harbin refrigeration processing enterprises, and sold as off-season sales to large and medium-sized cities in the south.
