Chef Zhao thought hard, and according to the characteristics that Wang Ye likes mutton at ordinary times, he used mutton brisket as the main material, after degreasing, he cooked it carefully and sent it to Wang Ye for lunch. The Regent has never eaten this dish. After eating it, he nodded and smiled and said, "I have never eaten this kind of mutton with rich sauce, fragrant but not greasy, crisp but not rotten." When asked if he didn't have a name, he thought a little and blurted out, "Let's call it' roast lamb brisket with palace sauce'!" Lu Jun, the chef of Friendship Hall of Friendship Palace, improved and innovated this dish, and won the first prize in the second China Food Festival competition, winning the highest prize-Jinding Award. Braised mutton in Harbin pot is a typical Russian-style dish, which has been popular in Harbin for more than 50 years. In the 3rd China Food Festival held in autumn of 2002, the "Habu Canned Mutton" in Friendship Palace won the highest honor-Jinding Award.
