Fangzheng rice

Founder county is the birthplace of rice cultivation techniques with dry cultivation and sparse planting, and it is the third county in our province approved by the national and provincial green food centers to grow, process and sell green rice. The county's rice planting area is 400,000 mu, accounting for 80% of the total cultivated land area. The rice is rich in nutrition, crystal clear, soft and palatable, and is well received by domestic consumers. Founder county has been awarded the title of "Green Selenium-enriched Rice" by the Ministry of Agriculture, and obtained the "China Origin Rice Protection" logo. As one of the main rice producing areas in northeast Heilongjiang Province, farmers planted "red-hairy rice" in founder county in 1818 (the 22nd year of Qing Jiaqing). Founder county ranks first in Heilongjiang Province in terms of paddy fields' proportion of cultivated land and paddy fields' per capita income. According to statistics in 2010, the county has 1.02 million mu of cultivated land, including 850,000 mu of paddy fields, accounting for more than 80% of the cultivated land area. By 2010, Founder's green rice planting area will reach 500,000 mu, certified organic rice will reach 80,000 mu, the rate of high-quality rice varieties will reach 100%, and the price of green food rice will be more than 20% higher than that of ordinary rice, which will drive farmers to increase their income by more than 10 million yuan. The special ecological environment with good quality, unique geographical landform, suitable climatic conditions and advanced cultivation techniques have created the unique excellent quality of Fangzheng rice. Fangzheng rice, represented by famous brands such as "Qiuran" and "Emerald", has won wide acclaim and is well received by the market for its nutritional safety, excellent quality, neat and transparent rice grains, good taste and strong fragrance.
