Hulan leek

Hulan District is located in the south of Heilongjiang Province, on the north bank of Songhua River and downstream of Hulan River. It is located at 126 11 ′-127 19 ′ east longitude and 45 49 ′-46 25 ′ north latitude. It borders Songhua River in the south, Zhaodong, Lanxi and Suihua City in the east and covers an area of 2,197 square kilometers. The geographical protection scope of Hulan leek is defined as the villages belonging to Kangjin Town, Xubao Township, Mengjia Town, Changling Town, Shuangjing Town, Yaobao Street, Shenjia Town, Fangtai Town and Erba Town in Hulan District (a total of 9 towns, streets and 107 villages). The geographical protection area is 45,460 hectares, and the current production area is 1,400 hectares, with an annual output of 80,000 tons. Hulan leek has been produced for more than 50 years. From 1996 to 2000, greenhouse vegetables have sprung up one after another, and a large number of characteristic agriculture such as medicinal materials have emerged. Xinxing Village and Zhenxing Village in Shuangjing Town are specialized leek villages. 90% of the farmers in the two villages are engaged in leek production, and more than 1.5 million square meters of greenhouses are deducted every year. Only this one has a per capita income of 1,500 yuan.
