Bear's paw, also known as bear's web, is the sole of black bear and brown bear, and it is a precious specialty in Changbai Mountain area of Jilin Province. Both black bears and brown bears are Xiong Ke animals, with large bodies, with a length of 1.7-1.9 meters, and some brown bears are more than 2 meters. According to Chinese medicine, bear's paw is a kind of precious tonic food, which is flat in nature and sweet in taste, and enters the spleen and stomach meridian. "Japanese Materia Medica" records that bear's paw can resist cold and tonify qi, and "Compendium of Medicine" also records that bear's paw can nourish blood and qi, dispel wind and remove arthralgia.
