Actinidia arguta

Actinidia arguta, also known as Actinidia arguta and Macaca pear, is a deciduous vine of Actinidiaceae. Li Shizhen once vividly described the origin of the name of kiwifruit in Compendium of Materia Medica. "Its shape is like a pear, its color is like a peach, and macaques like to eat, so they are famous." Actinidia arguta is one of the famous economic wild fruits in Changbai Mountain, Jilin Province. In addition, there are two species of Actinidia arguta belonging to the same genus in Changbai Mountain-Actinidia gouzao and Actinidia gezao. Similar to Actinidia arguta, all three species can be eaten as fruits. Weigezao Kiwifruit is similar, and all three plants can be eaten as fruits. Weigezao Kiwifruit is slightly spicy when eaten raw, and it will become sweet after frost.
