Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain, also known as Rhodiola sachalinensis, grows in the area above 3500 meters above sea level in Changbai Mountain. It is cold, sweet and astringent. Only some areas in the world are suitable for the growth of Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain, mainly distributed in the Russian Far East, Japan, North Korea and Northeast China, with a small range. In July 2006, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the protection of geographical indication products for Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain, and the protected area is the administrative area under the jurisdiction of Linjiang City, Jilin Province. According to the Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indications Products, AQSIQ organized a review of the application for the protection of geographical indication products of Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain. After passing the examination, it was approved to implement the protection of geographical indication products for Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain from July 12, 2006. Scope of protection The scope of protection of geographical indication products of Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain is subject to the scope proposed by the People's Government of Linjiang City, Jilin Province in the Letter on Determining the Protection Scope of the Original Areas of Epimedium Changbai Mountain and Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain (Lin Zhengfa [2005] No.29), which is the administrative area under the jurisdiction of Linjiang City, Jilin Province. Rhodiola sachalinensis in Changbai Mountain is a geographical indication protection product.
