China is land seal type and lives in the cold waters of the main stream and tributaries of rivers for life. From September to October every year, when the water temperature is about 8℃, the eggs are laid in the gravel bottom and the slow flow with a water depth of 30-60 cm. Sexual maturity at 3-4 years old. Oval, orange-yellow, egg diameter 4.2-5.0 mm. The number of eggs conceived is 194-310. They have a wide range of feeding habits, mainly benthos and insects falling into the water, and sometimes even jump out of the water to prey.
